Have to say if this is true I'm kinda disappointed. If not only because of my strange attraction to 80s movies and music. Although I'm not sure how far they could go with a Lily spin-off, maybe it would work with the same kinda concept but with new, different characters.

And I knew about the new Melrose, but I hadn't heard about the others mentioned in the article. "Vampire Diaries" could be interesting, especially with Kevin Williamson to executive produce and write, but is there already too much vampire stuff around right now?
